China is planning to develop Nansha District in the southern city of Guangzhou into a comprehensive services hub aimed at facilitating the global expansion of Chinese companies.
Special funds of up to 60 million yuan will be provided in the next three years to support qualified Singaporean enterprises to better enter the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) market, an official of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City revealed on March 21.
With a theme of connectivity, the 2024 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Week event was held in Guangzhou on March 22. Participants visited the Guangzhou Metro Museum to learn about the development of Guangzhou's metro. A seminar on Guangzhou's rail transit and its practice under Lancang-Mekong Cooperation was also held during the event.
